Everyday most notices keep coming and going….But today’s one was a special one. ‘Girls’ mess to be operational from 2 Nov, 2009′ bringing out smiles on many faces and disregard to what I call other many.
This surprise is known to be one of the biggest change in JIET. From a major section of girls across all the 4 years it is being termed as a ‘good move’ to which they had been anxiously waiting for…like satellite launching countdown.
However, why shouldn’t girls celebrate….after all they won’t have to get up early mornings, take the trouble of walking 300-400 mts, go back….especially in chilly mornings…they could have plenty of rest during lunch hours.
Like the Newton’s third law, to every happiness there is equal and opposite sadness…which truly prevails. Rather I should say a little more sadness for boys community. I think the reason is self-explanatory…need not to be told. 🙂 Though some boys would be much happier than girls….they are those who just want freedom from rules, want to go mess in shorts, chappals….
Lastly, the disheartened ones – those with girlfriends/boyfriends who have their breakfast to dinner together. I don’t know what next have they decided…
Whatever the reactions may be…the big questions is are we really getting irrational towards thoughts. Today, the world is moving… IITs and IIMs adopting new approches, having dormitories where girls and boys can go to each others’ hostels, study together, party together….and we here are moving anti-clockwise….
Every reaction has some questions and every discussion has some answers…so be part of this debate and express your point.

wat d hell is dis yaar!!!!!!!!!! Dis is nt d rite way 2 snatch our happiness!!! we shud fight for it guys ……..they dont hav rights 2 leave us alone!!! again n again they r trying 2 fool us …n nw it is bullshit yaar!!! Nw hw wud v see these beautiful faces n u knw evry thing!!!
I agree…we can just do one thing….pack up our bags n do remaining sem in JUIT…or ny othr colg 🙂
well it obviously will have mixed reactions. As to me I m happy that I won’t be seeing some depressing faces sitting out thr outside mess. And ya I had ma time;-) . Plus as regards to couples, well Thy will be calling each other while having food and thn doing the same stuff that they do now( well I knw of some damn irritating couples who will be doin this).
Well as too moving in an anti clock wise direction, ya it’s quite true but we also have to keep in mind the general mentality of people out here. So please don’t expect 2 much…..
In the end…What ever happens, it happens fr GOOD>>
And lets all pray—— Send US to Wakhna!!!!

WeLL hope the article 377 doesn’t gets implicated and ya we will be missin an important aspect of cllg life…. This thing will also be added to the list:
1. No bikes in cllg
2. No Good eating place
3. No cars
4. No Geris(ask ny punjabi fr the meaning)
5. No Chicken available in cllg
6. Not Good sport facilities( we play badminton out thr in open and no squash courts or tennis courts)
7. Return timings so early for GUYS
8. And finally different mess fr Gals….
I think in next 2 yrs….list surely going to extend
what d hell is this…..!!!!!!!!!! except breakfast thr is a only reason to go to mess to c some beautiful faces (only 1 year )….. now we are being snatched wid ths also…this is not fare yar……i have my full sympathy for my dear couples….i think thr must b a separate academic blocks for girls or all girls must shift to wakhna /noida….so that we can live purely like military college….. bcoz i thnk aft ths action …. thr is nothng special to go to mess…. so i reqst to send all girls to wakhna/noida as soon as possible…..give one copy of TWO STATES to the people who are doing this….so that they will be able to understand how to live in a college/business schools…..
finally lets c whts happen ….exciting to see the reactions of the students….

Wn I was reading 2S first thing it came to our mind was our mess…. I was hoping 4 dormitory in our colg…in next few yrs…sab ulta ho gaya…. 😦
me 2 was thinking that one day we our colg wil b havng a dormitory… but i thnk its better to make ths BOYZ COLLEGE……
after all these years, it doesn’t com as surpris.
what wud a guy who graduates from such a place say ? “my college didn’t let me go out after 7… 😦 “, “we had a separate mess for girls .. ” , “we wore blue uniforms to lectures.. ” and ” there were more guards than dogs on the campus”.
there isn’t a risk if ppl take a stroll evn at midnite.
but, the fun part is people have time to think and implement such rules! c’mon there’s a lot of others thing they can do which’d actually help us.
Sir….if u remember…u told being in editorial board we can bring a huge change…forget about change…staying here, would surely change our thoughts and already we aren’t getting enough exposure… i think….let the things happen as it…just smhw try to pass the remaining time in solitary confinement (JIET)…

hmm…well this is blast…its a good thing that has made girls like me very happy…its so comfortable to hav mess dats easily accessible…
it would be very helful during exams time….as a lot of girls skip meals during exams….sm will be regretting it..bt trust me they hav other ways…to figure out things…
n they have started…:)
things change n ppl adapt to it..whether it is good or bad…

Totally, agree with u Ankita…it would be surely comfortable for all the girls… getting up late… 🙂 But don’t u feel we(boys n grls) all here would be missing an important aspect of college life…???? And u knw very well….how ppl get frustrated here within a month….life is already a hell here….n its gonna get worse…just think from other side too….

okkkkk….dats another disheartning notice frm jiet administration…n i think dey r also in favour of act no 377.. n they want us to implement dis…. hey adminstration ppl move on yar…. dey r makin us dis place a real hell fr us … we had no such restrictions in skul also yar….n y dnt dey jst do one think jst build one new wall n new acadmic block fr girls … n change d name of existin collg to JBIET ie .. jaypee boys institute of engg & tech..

yrrr,, acc to me, this decisions is having both side of d coins……..
on one hand,, comparing to oder clgs of india,,,,,,,ya sure,our is lagging far behind in 19th century. College doesnt means only study bt it guides u hw to live ur lyf along with d oder ppl(ofcourse consisting of gals) of dis world.
on oder side,,, specifically thinking of jiet,,guna,, n ma personnel opinion,seeing the boys-gals ratio, the outside environment,,faculty, its nt a surprise.Hum to pehle bi khalli thee,, aj bhi khalli hain,, koi farak ni painda. Bermuda n chappals me mess jayenge n daba k khayenge. n haan nw even nt to feel jealous of d guys having a gf.
n yr thode din ki baat hai,, u wl al c d gals again infront of academic block,,

well…i ve seen lotz of comments coming from guyz part..n even i asserted about the irritational move taken by the mangement of this sucky place ..errrrrr….
…u noe.. i really cant feel like m in clg..just feeling like in a boarding.. it is more worst then boarding even..even boarding has not this kinda restrictions..
no facility of sports,no amenities,even food has become pathetic now..u tell me wats gud in this clg…???
..so finally clg have concurred its planning and have implemented successfully..
so i want to throw a damn suggestion to the management to seperate academic block also…and it is not really a big task for our clg..ha ha ha…
…m really depressed about guyz of 1st nd 2nd year hahaha..how will they live without beauties..thereafter some time u will find section 377 implemented in 1st year guys hostel ha ha ha…
